In this course, students will work with our instructors to practice specific approaches to each test question type for the Verbal portions of the CogAT, and OLSAT. Students will learn how words and sentences relate to each other and how to interpret nuances in language. Students will also learn how to gather and manipulate information, and increase vocabulary efficiency, and verbal memory.
We will build testing confidence through targeted practice activities. Students will study the principles of handling each type of question, they will get tips and strategies to help them answer different question types, and they will work through plenty of practice questions so they will know just what to expect when taking the actual test.
*This Class is for students who are currently in 4th grade or will be entering 4th grade in the Fall of this year.

Instructor's Bio:
Hi, my name is Marie, and I am a Teacher, in the New York Public School and Pennsylvania Private Schools with 18+ years of experience. I have extensive Special Education Classroom and Homeschooling experience. I teach students how to apply and use strategies to answer and solve questions
using games, chants, and songs. I equip parents with resources and strategies to help their students at home and inspire motivation for learning through a creative approach and encouraging environment incorporating praise and rewards.
