Roblox Simulator Game (3rd-9th Grade)

This class is for students with an above-average understanding of Roblox Studios. Simulator games are some of the most popular game types in Roblox. There are hundreds of them, and they're all completely different. This Simulator Game project will test the student's ability in game design, Roblox Studios tools, and object interaction. Students will also learn a bit about the Lua programming language and Roblox Studios scripting. Students will create a fully functional game, with the ability to choose a theme after the initial classes are completed. The game will also be available for all users on Roblox. 

Students will learn the following:

• Lua programming 
• Scripting in Roblox
• UI design 
• Object Interaction
• Events 
• Logic and Sequencing

Prior to Class:

Please make sure a Roblox account is set up, and your child knows their login information.

Please Download and Install Roblox Studio here: www.roblox.com/create

Be sure to use a desktop or a laptop for this class as Roblox Studio cannot be accessed with a tablet.
