Hello Students! Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey into Java? Java is the official language used to develop apps for the Android platform. It is objective-oriented and easy to use. For kids, the biggest motivation for learning Java programming language is learning how to build on Minecraft.
By learning how to code in Java, kids will find that it will unlock skills and creativity that can be used to master and customize the Minecraft game. Many applications and programs we rely on daily run using Java's programming language. With the guidance of our instructor, students will engage in hands-on, project-based learning with the Java interface, culminating in a dynamic learning opportunity that will give them the edge they need to excel in STEM-related courses and the software industry. This course is designed to teach students the fundamentals of understanding and operating this language, creating confidence in coding skills and the ability to utilize this learning experience in various settings.

Hi, I'm Mr. Cardenas! I have 3 years of teaching experience with Elementary, Middle, and High School Students. I have over 6 years of experience tutoring Elementary to Freshman College Students. All kids have different learning styles and can not be taught the same way. Understanding how one student thinks, how one learns and processes information is key to a successful session. Not only that it will keep them engaged, and interested.
