In this workshop, we will spend 2 hours each day going through the 9 types of questions on the CogAT test – Verbal (Sentence Completion, Analogies, Classification), Non-Verbal (Paper Folding, Analogies, Classification), and Quantitative (Number Puzzles, Analogies, Number Series).
The Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT) is an effective and empirically validated testing instrument for gifted and talented identification criteria used by school districts across the nation. Our instructors have prepared dynamic and engaging learning experiences to help your student unlock their full potential in order to be successful on test day.

Hello! My name is Lavontria. I understand the struggle of not fully understanding the material while exhibiting the desire for wanting to understand. I take pride in making lessons fun, exciting, easy to grasp, and hard to forget. Classroom management, personalized learning programs, and innovative educational techniques are just a few of my expertise areas. By teaching students in a wide range of ages and situations, I have honed my communication, creativity, and motivational skills. My inherent passion for fostering collaborative and engaging educational environments has successfully encouraged and developed productive, thoughtful, and accomplished students.
