Description

In this four-day class, we will spend one hour each day reviewing all nine sections of the CogAT Form 7&8 and reviewing practice problems to help your child understand how to evaluate, process, and solve these questions.

The Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT) is an effective and empirically validated testing instrument for gifted and talented identification criteria used by school districts nationwide. Our instructors have prepared dynamic and engaging learning experiences to help your student unlock their full potential to be successful on test day.

We firmly believe that an investment in our CogAT test prep course will be an investment in your child’s cognitive development that will pay off for years. In this course, students will work with our instructors to practice specific approaches to each test question type and build testing confidence through targeted practice activities. Students will study the principles of handling each type of question, get tips and strategies to help them answer different question types, and work through plenty of practice questions so they will know just what to expect when taking the actual test. Our instructors have thousands of hours of experience guiding students to CogAT mastery.

Enroll your student in our CogAT test prep course today to give them the competitive edge to perform at their highest potential on exam day.

Heather says:

My child loved the finance classes and the instructor was fabulous!!! She was knowledgeable and made it fun.

Roxana says:

The instructor was very energetic and encouraged the students to ask questions and provide feedback. This class was really insightful. My 9-year-old daughter was very engaged and learned a lot. The class inspired her to take action, and she spent 9 hours over the course of one weekend (I had to stop her both evenings to get ready for bed!) thinking through an idea she had for starting a business, including services, prices, and logistics. She watched a YouTube video on creating a website, and she created one (her first ever) for her business and included 4 pages with content, including a homepage, services page, and contact us page. I was really floored by how motivated she was after this class. Interesting to learn about all the different ways to make money, and it’s never too early to get started. The class was really good and I would recommend it.

Homero says:

Lori is easy to understand and the class was very good.

Christina says:

My son was very engaged in this course, and he really liked it. He liked being able to explain himself because it helps him to learn. Also, it is great that kids can communicate with the instructor through messenger. A lot of kids are shy so this is a great tool.

Ann says:

The teacher helped the students with test taking strategies to improve performance.

Shawna says:

Great Readiness Assessment.

Tasha says:

LOVED the instructor and the multiple ways that students can participate (chat box, raise hands, etc.). The instructor was energetic, and kept kids on task. She was kind, supportive, focused. Mentioned numerous times that she loved teaching this class. The positivity was great!

Deqin says:

Lori is an effective teacher and did a fantastic job! She engaged all the kids, explained every question well, and kept pace. The questions she selected covered different areas of the test. My son is excited about the Monday lesson, I think also because Lori is teaching. We’ll register for other classes that Lori teaches. Big thanks to Lori! She was well-organized and helpful. I highly recommend this class!
