Description

The Hunter College Elementary Test represents a major part of the application process for admission to Hunter College Elementary School (HCES), one of the oldest and most prestigious schools in the country for intellectually gifted students. Our instructors aim to teach your students the skills necessary to master the test and perform confidently when it counts the most.

In this course, your student will work with our instructors to practice and hone the specific skills evaluated on the Hunter College Elementary Test through fun and engaging learning activities. Since committed parent involvement is one of the pillars of HCES, we encourage you to take that first step of committing to invest in your child’s success by enrolling them in our test prep course. This 2-day class gives your student more practice with the Hunter entry test. In working with our instructors, your students will develop the competitive edge necessary to perform at their highest potential. We aim to help them open doors of opportunity, beginning with success on the Hunter College Elementary Test.

This is for children born in 2020 ONLY and is open to ALL NYC residents in ALL 5 boroughs.

*HCES only accepts kindergarteners whose birthdays fall between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31 of the year they turn five.

Hi, my name is Deborah. I have tutored children and adults for over 9 years. I approach each lesson with humor and make the material relatable to the
students. I approach the questions as fun “puzzles,” and “brain games,” not as parts of “tests.” After all, I am a puzzle lover myself!
