With the ease of only having 2 dimensions to worry about, and the simplicity of creating your own unique art without the complexity of 3D Modeling. Come learn how to make your own 2D game from scratch in Unity!

This is a beginner-level class for students who have no or limited experience with Unity or computer programming.

Students will be able to:

Get acquainted with the Unity interface,
Game Design
Development of Graphical User Interfaces
Understanding of C#
Object-Oriented Programming

Prior to class, please Download and Install Unity Hub

1: Download Unity HUB (Free) from https://unity.com/download

2: Create an account associated with Unity

3: Open Unity Hub

4: Go to account settings and add a "Personal" License (Also Free)

5: Go to Installs and Add/Install Unity Editor 2019 along with Visual Studio (C#)

6: Any problems in the installation process can be addressed on the first day of class!

Instructor Bio:

Hi, I'm Mr. Cardenas! I have 3 years of teaching experience with Elementary, Middle, and High School Students. I have over 6 years of experience tutoring Elementary to Freshman College Students. All kids have different learning styles and can not be taught the same way. Understanding how one student thinks, how one learns and processes information is key to a successful session. Not only that it will keep them engaged, and interested.
