Welcome to the world of Artificial Intelligence! Image recognition/ detection is one of the most important tasks of Artificial Intelligence. The ability to process an image is one that comes naturally to organic beings, but for AI the task must be performed one pixel at a time. In this class, you will learn the basics of building a recognition AI app using Python. The reason we're using Python is that it has a number of versatile & useful libraries that developers can use to achieve that goal and make the process easier than some of the other programming languages. By the end of this class, you will have built your own recognition AI app and gained a foundational understanding of AI and its applications.
*Note: This class is designed for children in 3rd-9th grade who are interested in learning how to build intelligent apps, and who have completed at least two Beginner Python classes with Testing Mom.
In this class, you will learn:
You will use Python libraries such as OpenCV, TensorFlow, and Keras to build your recognition AI app. You will also learn how to train your AI model using sample datasets and how to deploy your app using cloud services.
By the end of this class, you will have built your own recognition AI app and gained a foundational understanding of AI and its applications.
Important Note: Our system will send you the link to join the class 30 minutes prior to the start time of the class.
The "Python" Logo is owned by Python Software Foundation and is not affiliated with Testing

Abhijeet has been involved in the programming and teaching sector for several years. He has worked with the brightest minds on wall street (Quantitative Researchers), and created AI (Machine Learning) Algorithms that analyze stock data, and give recommendations. He has also spent a lot of his time volunteering, and working with gifted students, and helping kids as young as 5 years old, and has been teaching them programming for several years. He has taught students that had no idea how to program, and they went on to win programming competitions.
