Python: Create an Animating Pumpkin for Halloween! (3rd-8th Grade)

Welcome to the "Animating Pumpkin with Python" class—a two-session virtual journey into the world of creative coding and Halloween-themed fun! We will use Python with Turtle to design the pumpkin and have it light up with animation effects, created by programming. The animation skills learned in this class can be used for your future designs or even bigger projects!

Turtle is a pre-installed module within the Python coding library. It allows users to create art using a virtual canvas. Students will learn basic programming concepts to create graphics easily using "Turtle" programming logic. From simple shapes, and coloring, to complex designs. Come join us as we bring a spooky and animated pumpkin to life with the power of Python! Let's create something special together this Halloween! ??

• Students should have basic computer skills 
• Know how to type
• No tablets! (Chromebooks should be fine)
