Class Details:
Come join us as we go on a LEGO adventure to the magical Kingdom of Cybit! The inhabitants of this magical kingdom are tiny Lego robots called Bits who solve puzzles. Bit, is a little, very adventurous LEGO robot, but as with all small creatures, sometimes Bit cannot get its programs right. You can help Bit solve the challenges by figuring out which programs are needed. You do this by creating a sequence of small behavior blocks that tells Bit what to do! "Bits and Bricks" is a fun and engaging computer coding class designed specifically for young children who love playing with LEGO bricks. This class introduces students to basic programming concepts through building and coding their own LEGO creations.
Students will use a visual coding language to program their models and will learn about logic, loops, and sequencing as they bring their creations to life. By the end of the course, students will have a solid foundation in coding and will be able to design and program their own LEGO models. This class is perfect for kids who love both LEGO and technology and is a great way to introduce them to the world of programming in a fun and engaging way.
