In this workshop, we will spend 2 hours each day going through the 9 types of questions on the CogAT test – Verbal (Sentence Completion, Analogies, Classification), Non-Verbal (Paper Folding, Analogies, Classification), and Quantitative (Number Puzzles, Analogies, Number Series).
The Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT) is an effective and empirically validated testing instrument for gifted and talented identification criteria used by school districts nationwide. Our instructors have prepared dynamic and engaging learning experiences to help your student unlock their full potential to be successful on test day.
We firmly believe that an investment in our CogAT test prep course will be an investment in your child’s cognitive development that will pay off for years to come. In this course, students will work with our instructors to practice specific approaches to each test question type and build testing confidence through targeted practice activities. Students will study the principles of handling each type of question, get tips and strategies to help them answer different question types, and work through plenty of practice questions so they will know just what to expect when taking the test. Our instructors have thousands of hours of experience guiding students to CogAT mastery.

A message from Sushmita:
I have been working with children aged 4-12 for the past 5 years. I love to share their enthusiasm and show them the path to achieve whatever they set out for. I love math and science, I would be delighted if I could instill that passion for learning in all my students. I believe I have a blended style of teaching. I strongly feel that one size fits all does not hold good. It is the child’s learning style that should decide my teaching style. I encourage them to think, make mistakes, learn from mistakes, and move on.
