In this workshop, we will spend 2 hours each day going through the 9 types of questions on the CogAT test – Verbal (Sentence Completion, Analogies, Classification), Non-Verbal (Paper Folding, Analogies, Classification), and Quantitative (Number Puzzles, Analogies, Number Series).
The Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT) is an effective and empirically validated testing instrument for gifted and talented identification criteria used by school districts across the nation. Our instructors have prepared dynamic and engaging learning experiences to help your student unlock their full potential in order to be successful on test day.

Instructor's Bio:
Lori Cortinas has been an educator in public schools for 10 years. She has a bachelor’s in elementary education and a master’s in curriculum and instruction. She is currently getting certified as a financial educator. She is passionate about educating students so they can become successful adults. Ms. Cortinas is a reading specialist at her campus and she also teaches personal finance classes to middle school and high school students.
