😇 Fun Fact
- After 35 years of teaching, I retired due to knee issues. I really thought I would have both new knees fixed and be back with the kids I love. Instead, while recovering from surgery, I discovered online, one on one teaching! I was able to be with the little children from my home. It has been a wonderful journey!
How I Work With Kids
- I use all of the tools learned from past experiences to meet the needs of the student where they are at any given time. Each child is different.
- Learning is important and can be accomplished in a positive and fun way by a loving, caring teacher.

- Testing Mom came through for us pretty quickly. We had several tutors for sake of time due to the proximity of their test date. However, the bulk of their tutoring was with Teacher Linda. My kids have very different personalities and it was evident that Teacher Linda had a lot of experience because she was very adept at teaching them according to their personal learning styles. She was patient and engaging with them. She also was a great source for me and provided suggestions to help me with their learning process. We had two issues (one with scheduling and one with a tutor whose style did not work for our kids and Testing Mom was very quick to help us fix both). They are a quality company with great tutors and customer service. My kids both got in to their 1st choice schools and that was in great part due to Testing Mom!
- Our 9 yr old has been working with Teacher Linda for 2 weeks now. Our initial purpose for engaging a tutor was to prepare him for his upcoming standardized testing at school. I am always so impressed and elated by how engaged and happy he is to work with Teacher Linda, even after a long day at school. We hear him laughing, reading, and engaging the whole hour, and then some sometimes. She always goes above and beyond. From the first day she assessed him, provides him new tools and homework, and then we get an detailed thorough email summary after each session. I believe this is a priceless asset to make sure we are filling any gaps in his learning and also to provide him the opportunity to drive forward in areas he is accelerating in faster than his class.
- Linda has done a marvelous job with Ben. He had his first school interview and did really well. You really have helped him with a range of questions and skills. Even he acknowledged that he probably couldn't have answered the questions correctly had he not spent time practicing with you. Thank you and Testing Moms for the great work!
