How I Work With Kids
- Before I begin reviewing content with students, I like to establish a relationship with them beforehand. I love hearing their interests, favorite things, dislikes, etc. I remember being in school and feeling such a strong bond to my teachers who took the time to get to know me. I hope I can provide the same comfort for my students as well! I also love sharing my favorite things and am always surprised when a few match up with my students!
- I am a BIG fan of brain breaks, especially any that involve dancing! I love showing dancing videos at any point in the lesson when the student needs to give their brain a little break.
