Each SSAT (Secondary School Admissions Test) quantitative section consists of thirty items. The Elementary Level test has one quantitative section (30 questions total) while the Middle and Upper Level tests have two quantitative sections (60 questions total). This section is comprised of a mixture of familiar mathematical concepts as well as a few that may challenge the student.
Elementary Level:
The questions at this level assume that the student understands the following concepts:

- Ordering numbers and greater than/less than
- Place value
- Interpreting graphs

Upper Level:
