Tues/Thurs: Roblox Studio, ADVANCED: Create a Wildlife Obstacle Course (Grades 3-8) 

Roblox Studio is an educational tool where the opportunities for creativity and imagination are limitless. In Roblox Studio we will create experiences and worlds spanning a variety of genres, from interactive stories, games, and themes, to role-playing adventures. This is an ADVANCED class for students who have experience with Roblox Studio and computer programming.

We need your ideas and creativity to make the world a better place. We challenged our Testing Mom Coding Academy students to create their best Wildlife Obstacle Course.

Students will: 

• Manipulate 3D parts to create an obstacle course
• Design and playtest a game, focusing on a fun user experience
• Create scripts using variables and loops for in-game visual effects
• Discuss Lua coding, multiplayer development, and entrepreneurship
• Present their project during the final session

Preparation:

Prior to class make sure each student has set up a Roblox account and knows their login information.
