This engaging book club will feature a combination of student and teacher read high-interest-text to facilitate academic discussions, promote socialization, and foster reading comprehension skills like inferencing and text analysis. In addition to various other literacy skills, the group will use the text to determine the main ideas, themes, and vocabulary in context.
Students are not required to purchase any materials. A digital version of the book will be used for reading, and the teacher will provide supplementary resources and activities. This club will elevate reading comprehension skills using a fun, interactive approach.

Instructor's Bio:
Engagement is the key to learning! I foster engagement through the use of humor, a strong rapport with my students, and visual aids. Often times I will use examples that students are familiar with and excited about. Comparing a term or situation to their favorite Marvel character may mean the difference between committing a situation to memory or not
