In this fully interactive class, we will have a ton of fun learning the elements of impromptu speaking, playing hilarious impromptu speech games, and practicing multiple impromptu assignments! Each class includes: - “Open Forum” positive discussion - Lesson for the day on a specific topic -Speaking games! Assignment for the day!
All classes are taught by 2 instructors to ensure every student gets plenty of individual attention and feedback in smaller groups! We will also share occasional videos and updates with students’ parents so that they may see their children’s progress! Oh, and did we mention that our classes are taught by teachers who are also stand-up comics/performers? It is an unprecedented time. Our goal is to ensure the kids learn, but also have a very FUN, interactive, and memorable experience! ** Please note, assignments are expected to be completed in order for children to gain the most benefit from the camp!

Instructor's Bio:
Hello! I'm Sumedha and I am a patent attorney, public speaking coach for children and adults, and a stand-up comic! I'm also a busy mom to an 8-year-old always hungry son, and a very combative 2 year old daughter. I live in Fairfax, VA but am originally and proudly a Bostonian!
A message for the students:
Hi kids! We are going to have a VERY fun time hearing YOU! In our classes, we play hilarious speaking games and learn about and practice the key elements of public speaking. Be ready to really ENJOY speaking up and to truly improve your speaking skills, whether in the classroom or with your friends in the playground! Oh, and also, be ready to be a bit silly, because we certainly are!
