One of the largest gaming platforms in the world, Roblox has established a reputation for both bringing learners together and creating a diverse community for creative exploration. Our instructors share a passion both for learning with Roblox and teaching students how to challenge themselves to find creative solutions to problems. In this Roblox course, students will be guided through engaging project-based learning experiences within the Roblox world and will work collaboratively to practice and demonstrate proficiency across numerous content domains in order to make meaningful learning connections.
Through the language of coding, students will be able to communicate their knowledge and ideas on the Roblox landscape- all while having a blast! In this weekend’s course, we will get spooky! Students will build a delightfully scary, Halloween-themed obby (obstacle course) by coding color-changing blocks, developing multiple spawn locations, and tweaking their lighting to create dramatic in-game effects.

Hello students and parents! I do a lot of teaching, learning, and coaching virtually, and I'm excited to have you in my virtual classroom! We will learn new ways to communicate using the latest digital technologies. The topics I have been focusing on are Coding, Robotics, 3D Modeling, Spatial Visualization, Math/Logic Games, Virtual Reality, and Encryption. My teaching and learning philosophy stem from the five p’s of creative learning (projects, passion, play, peers, and purpose).
