Students will write a Python game where the user walks into the different rooms of a haunted house. In each room, something spooky will happen. Each student will decide what happens when the user enters a room. Each room will have a random educational question to solve, and if the user does not give the correct answer they lose and something spooky happens!
Python is easy to understand, even for students with no programming experience. It powers the world’s second-largest search engine: YouTube and Scientists use Python to work with large data sets. Software engineers build networks and artificial intelligence with this versatile language.
Programming languages are similar to spoken languages: students have to learn grammar and vocabulary, and this takes time. The only way to improve is by writing/reading a lot of code, and consistently practicing. As you take more Python classes, you will find certain parts of the language become second nature.

As of September 2022, Fantaysia has become the first female MS graduate in the IoT program at Florida International University.
