This was an excellent and engaging class. The material covered was appropriate for the age range and grade. It covered questions in each of the 9 CogAT categories. The instructor did a great job of making sure all the material was covered in a timely manner while making sure each child took turns in answering questions and walked through getting to the correct answer if they had difficulty.
Ms. Lavontria was able to manage about 10 5-6 years old’s with ease, made the class go smoothly, and covered all the material discussed. She did an amazing job of keeping the kids engaged. She took the time to explain difficult questions to those that did not understand. I would highly recommend this instructor!

My 2nd-grade daughter enjoyed the Venus class taught by Lavontria very much. Her class was interactive, filled with substantive and interesting scientific information that young children can comprehend. My daughter asked me to sign her up for all space-themed classes offered by Lavontria. She enjoyed the group class so much and whenever she had questions Lavontria answered them.

Great class! The teacher did an excellent job explaining the different strategies to the kids. She gave them cute emojis which were fun and was very patient in helping the kids process through the problems. She also made the time go by fast as 2 hours is a long class. Lavontria is very patient and kind.

Ms. L is amazing and a great entertaining presenter! I was initially afraid my daughter would be bored but she was GLUED to the screen 100% focused. After class, my daughter has retained the information and is begging to take more of Ms. L\'s classes. I can’t remember my 7- year- old ever begging to take more educational classes. I credit it to Ms. L’s interactive teaching style.

The class is just a start as we get ready for the CogAT test, but we feel better prepared to tackle the task ahead and appreciate the strategies on what to do during the test, which have helped our daughter’s anxiety about the test; thank you!
Lavontria, is very kind and patient with the children. She gave the students strategies to tackle some of the problems and made the learning process fun and interactive. Our daughter was a bit disappointed there were no more classes after the last one ended as she enjoyed the experience.
