Description

This is an intermediate class for students who have completed the "Intro. to Roblox Studio" class. Using Roblox Studio, students will design an Escape Room using the skills of design, and programming to create an interactive game for others to enjoy. In this class, students will build and design their own Roblox game using the Lua programming language. With the guidance of the instructor, students will take game building to the next level! Lua programming allows creators the ability to manipulate objects to create movement, events, or effects.

Mac or PC/Laptop (NO TABLETS OR CHROMEBOOKS)
Roblox Account (Free to make)
If possible 2 monitors

Be sure to use a desktop or a laptop for this class as Roblox Studio cannot be accessed with a tablet.

Instructor Bio:

Hi, I'm Mr. Cardenas! I have 3 years of teaching experience with Elementary, Middle, and High School Students. I have over 6 years of experience tutoring Elementary to Freshman College Students. All kids have different learning styles and can not be taught the same way. Understanding how one student thinks, how one learns and processes information is key to a successful session. Not only that it will keep them engaged, and interested.
