At Testing Mom, we believe in the power of coding and are excited to invite your student to continue their coding journey with one of the world’s most popular programming languages, C++. This is an Intermediate class for students very familiar with or who have completed "The Basics of C++ Programming Language." C++ programming opens kids to a world from web design to game development. Continuing their learning of the tools of today can prepare your child for the careers and hobbies of the future!

In this Intermediate C++ class, students will learn:

Step 1: Visit the visual studio website and download the installer at
https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/
You'll click the dropdown that says "Download visual studio" and then the "Community 2022"
Step 2: Launch the installer, you'll be given many options for programming languages. Select "Desktop Development with C++" and install.
Step 3: In order to test to see if everything is in order, select create a new project. If a "Console App" for C++ is available, congratulations!
Important Note: Our system will send you the link to join the class 30 minutes prior to the start time of the class.
Instructor Bio:
I have over 100 Hours teaching children from ages 7-17 in multiple different coding languages such as C#, Lua, Java, C++. I enjoy relating a child's love of video games to real-life applications. ie: Using Algebra to calculate a character's health! I also like making use of new digital technology to directly interact with my student' screens in conferencing applications like Zoom!
