We all must deal with anger and frustration, and the ability to manage these emotions effectively can be the difference between success and failure in almost every aspect of our lives. One of the most invaluable tools we can give children is the ability to manage their emotions in a healthy manner that promotes short-term solutions for conflict resolution and long-term growth. In this course, students will work with our instructor to develop an “Anger Action Plan” that can be implemented during high stress and overwhelming frustration.
Our action plans will be developed through informal, low-stakes discussions and expert guidance from our talented instructors. Students will work on using redirection strategies, helpful mantras, and simple scripts to replace ineffective or harmful behaviors that commonly arise when overtaken by emotion. Here at Testing Mom, we believe in the education of the “whole learner.” Spending time developing emotional intelligence and awareness will benefit your child’s cognitive and personal development. We can’t wait for you to join us in this Healthy Habits learning journey!
