Create your own Holiday Card with Python Turtle! (3rd-8th Grade)

Create a Christmas Tree or Holiday Card that actually moves! We will be using Python with Turtle to design the tree, create text, and even add ornaments and lights made by programming. The animation skills learned in this class can be used for future designs or even bigger drawings. 

Turtle is a pre-installed module within the Python coding library. It allows users to create art using a virtual canvas. Students will learn basic programming concepts to create graphics easily using "Turtle" programming logic from simple shapes, and coloring, to complex designs.

• Problem Solving

Class Requirements:

• Students should know how to use a computer
• Know how to type
• No tablets! (Chromebooks should be fine)
