Create a Side-Scroller Car Game using Python and Pygame! (2nd-8th Grade)

This is a great introductory class for students who have just started learning to program in Python. Students will learn about the pygame library, and create a side-scroll car-based game. Pygame is a library that provides a set of tools and functions that allows you to create games with graphics, sound, and user input handling. Learn the basic concept of classes, functions, variables, and loops to make a fully-functioning game. Create various vital events and object-oriented programming. Students will also learn about sprites and how to use them in programming.

*Prior to Class: Please make sure your child has Python installed on their computer (See instructions below). 

1. Install Python: Make sure you have Python installed on your computer. You can download the latest version of Python from the official Python website (https://www.python.org/downloads/).

*The instructor will go over the instructions step by step to install "Pygame" onto each student's computer on the first day of class.
