Stanford-Binet 5 Test: Long Standing Measure of Child Prodigy Status

The Stanford-Binet IQ test has long been utilized as a measure of child prodigy status. Making headlines throughout the decades as the most prominently used intelligence quotient assessment test, the Stanford-Binet test has been used to assess the IQ of children as young as 2 years of age with great success.

The Stanford-Binet was developed decades ago and has gone through major adjustments over the years. Many institutions now utilize the SB-4 test or the most recent version, SB-5 test, to assess students. These newer tests have replaced older versions in determining the IQ of young children in particular.

There are numerous online Stanford-Binet practice test resources available for parents who suspect their children are prodigies or exceptional in some way. These types of SB-5 practice test resources are also commonly utilized in preparing young children prior to formal testing for a gifted and talented program at school.
